Every now and then, I run across something that is just too hard to describe with words and this is one of those occasions. The first time I had the pleasure of trying this bread dipper I was hooked. So, instead of wasting words trying to do the impossible, here is the recipe so you can judge for yourself:
1 Jar Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Dried Tomatoes
1 Tablespoon each of Roasted Garlic, Minced Garlic, Cracked Rosemary, Basil,
Oregano, Whole Thyme
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
All of these ingredients go into the jar of olive oil.
Use as an appetizer by placing a saucer in the center of the table, pour some of the dipper into the saucer, set a platter of fresh, hot, out-of-the-oven French or Italian bread on the table and watch the sparks fly. Fresh garlic, parmesan and basil can be added to enhance the flavor. This dipper can also be used on vegetables before you grill or saute' them.
